This beef characterizes the very best-of-the-best available. These cattle are raised without hormones or antibiotics and are fed only the finest quality, minimally processed grain. Healthy free choice grain rations, complete minerals and clean water are a must.
This beef is perfectly marbled which is the key to unparalleled tenderness. Marbling is the fat content which renders (melts) during cooking, leaving properly prepared meat which is moist and tender. The higher the marbling, the higher the grade for tenderness. Ninety percent of this meat is Prime - the highest grade awarded by the USDA. After receiving USDA Prime grade certification, it is again graded using the renowned Japanese BMS scoring system.
Our pricing for this product is one of the lowest in the industry - kosher or not. We cut and vacuum pack each of these items right here at our plant in Atlanta in strict accordance with our high standards of quality and food safety. We challenge you to try any of these items - it will be a culinary experience you will never forget.
*Please note that KOBE beef strictly refers to the Tajima breed of Japanese cattle and is required to be slaugtered in the Hyogo prefecture of Japan. Interestingly, none of these plants are approved by the United States Department of Agriculture and therefore KOBE beef may not be imported into the United States. The American counterpart, WAGYU is raised in the United States to meet (at a minimum) and arguably exceed the quality standards of the Japanese breed. In addition, Wagyu beef is inspected and approved by The United States Department of Agriculture for both quality, hygiene and food safety.
Our WAGYU beef is sourced and raised by Strube Ranch Gourmet Meats, located in Texas and we invite you to visit their website at struberanch.com
