The Atlanta Kashruth Commission

The Atlanta Kashruth Commission was established over 45 years ago by Rabbi Emanuel Feldman. The Commission currently cerifies close to 100 companies, restaurants, hotels, and caterers throughout the country. Working closely with major certifying agencies, the AKC has developed a worldwide reputation in the field of kosher supervision.

In addition to certifying companies the AKC:
- Monitors new developments in the food industry
- Publishes a newsletter with the latest information about kosher products and issues
- Conducts educational seminars for consumers and institutions
- Supports a hotline to answer kosher related questions.

The Dean of the Atlanta Kashruth Commission is Rabbi Ilan Feldman and the Director of Administration is Rabbi Reuven Stein. In addition the AKC has a staff of rabbinic coordinatiors and supervisors including Rabbi Shkarofsky and David Kayser to help insure that all the AKC establishments maintain the highest kosher standards.
