Kosher-for-Passover Items

Griller's Pride proudly maintains the strictest standards of kashruth and is under supervision of The Atlanta Kashruth Commission.

We have 2 full-time Mashgichim (Jonathan Bolnick and Betzalel Johns) who report directly to Rabbi Stein of the Atlanta Kashruth Commission with regard to any Kashruth matters. You are encouraged and welcome to contact either of these gentleman should you have any kashruth-related questions whatsoever.

Each year, approximately 2 weeks before Purim, we kosher our processing equipment for Passover. From then on and until after Passover, we do not process any chometz whatsoever.

The following describes which products are:

  • Kosher for Passover and all year round
  • Items Specifically Prepared Kosher for Passover
  • Items not Kosher for Passover.

A. Products Kosher-for-Passover and All-Year-Round

Our Kosher-for-Passover and All-Year-Round items include our plain, raw Beef, Lamb, Veal and Poultry items but do not include our non-Kosher-for-Passover ground items (please see B.1 below).

B. Items Specifically Prepared/Purchased Kosher-for-Passover

These include certain ground items and all multi-ingredient items.

B.1 Ground Items.
The following ground items are specifically prepared Kosher-for-Passover after we have koshered our processing equipment for Passover each year:

  • Ground Beef (labelled as "Kosher-for-Passover")
  • Ground Lamb (labelled as "Kosher-for-Passover")
  • Ground Veal (labelled as "Kosher-for-Passover")
  • Ground Turkey (white and dark) (labelled as "Kosher-for-Passover")

Please note: Our ground Chicken is Kosher-for-Passover and All-Year-Round because it is a purchased item from Chai Kosher Poultry (whose entire product range is Kosher-for-Passover and All-Year-Round).

B.2 Multi-Ingredient Items

Multi-Ingredient items (that are specifically prepared Kosher-for-Passover) include the following:

Pickled/Corned Beef Brisket Deckel (uncooked)

Each of the above items are specifically labelled as "Kosher-for-Passover"

C. Items Not Kosher-for-Passover

At this time, because they are multi-ingredient items, the following are not Kosher-for-Passover
