Metro-Atlanta Home Deliveries and Customer Plant Pickups

Griller's Pride does not (yet) have a store-front. Most of our Atlanta-based customers have us deliver their orders directly to their homes starting late-afternoon (approximately 4:30 pm) and going through onto the early evenings. We also encourage our customers to pickup their orders directly from our plant coveniently located in Doraville, 1 mile north of exit 32, just off of Buford Highway - please see "CUSTOMER PICKUP ORDERS FROM OUR PLANT" below. Scheduled "Day-of-the-Week" deliveries. In order to maintain and ensure our high levels of customer service, we deliver to you on a specific day-of-the-week based on your zip code. The table below lists the scheduled delivery day-of-the-week together with the delivery charge based on your zip code and the value of the order. The delivery charge for each zip code is based on a combination of travelling distance from our plant and the concentration of customers in each zip-code area and the value of the order.

Unscheduled "Day-of-the-Week" deliveries. We fully understand and appreciate that from time to time, you may need your order delivered on a day other than the designated day-of-the-week. You can be assured that we will ALWAYS do our very best to accomodate you but we cannot guarentee that we will be able to do so. An additional charge of $5 may need to be charged to cover such deliveries. Under normal circumstances however, please try to place your orders at least a day or two before the scheduled delivery day-of-the-week and at the latest, by noon of that day.

Delivery Staff. Because our delivery drivers are often required to enter our customer homes (to carry in your order), we very carefully select who we hire. Our drivers are courteous, well presented and have excellent communication and planning skills. If you feel inclined, you are welcome to "tip" the delivery driver. However, if the driver happens to be the owner, Peter Swerdlow, please give any tip you would have given, to tzedakah (charity).

If no one is home to receive the delivery, we will leave the order (packed in an insulated Igloo cooler) either outside your front door or garage. Because it is essential that the cooler be brought inside that day, PLEASE advise us accordingly if you are NOT going to be coming home that day so that we do NOT leave the Igloo outside your house! If you have requested us to leave the Igloo(s) outside your front door (or elsewhere), we ask that you leave any previously delivered empty Igloo(s) there for us to collect (if you have any). Because the Igloos that we use are highly insulated, your order will remain perfectly safe for that period but please remember to bring them inside and unpack the items into your freezer or refrigerator. Please simply hold the Igloo(s) until the our next delivery, at which stage we will ask you to simply leave them outside your front door for collection that evening - just like the "Milkman" used to do! We have been using this system for over 42 months now and have NEVER lost a single Igloo!

We always call ahead. Before delivering on the appointed date, we will call you just before our van departs to confirm the delivery for that afternoon/evening and to give you the total amount for the order and to determine up to how late in the evening we should ring the doorbell - or whether we should simply leave the Igloo(s) outside your front door. For this reason we request our customers to kindly provide us with both a home phone and a mobile phone number (if you have one) so that we can be sure to reach you.

Carry down to basement. If someone is home to receive the delivery, our driver will gladly carry the Igloo(s) into your kitchen and unload your order (in shopping bags) onto your counter. Time permitting, we will also gladly carry the Igloo(s) down to your basement and offload them there, should you so require.

PAYMENT: We accept both credit/charge cards (for Visa or Mastercard) as well as checks (which we greatly prefer) but discourage cash for security reasons. Please indicate your choice in the "Check Out" section of the shopping cart ("Pay by Invoice Later" or "Credit Card"). If you choose to pay by credit/charge card, we will only charge the card after we have actually delivered your order. If you have chosen to pay by check, please place the check in an envelope and hand it to the driver when he delivers or simply paste the envelope to your front door as appropriate.

CUSTOMER PICKUP OF ORDERS FROM OUR PLANT: We very much encourage our customers to pickup their orders from our plant which is conveniently located in Doraville. If you would like to do so, we simply ask that you place your order beforehand so that it is ready for you on your arrival at our premises. If you plan to have the order in your vehicle for more than 1 hour, please ensure that you bring a cooler with you, to ensure that your order does not defrost. Our address is: 3939 McElroy Road, Doraville, GA 30340 on the corner of New Peachtree Road. The name on our building is "Noxwell International" and we are located at the back of the building on the left-hand side.

Again, please remember if you would like to pickup your order at our plant, we offer a PLANT PICKUP DISCOUNT OF $7.50 for all orders $150.00 value and up and you (obviously) do not pay any delivery charge!

Also, as you will see from the table below, there are certain zip codes (30022, 30062, 30068, 30327,30328, 30329, 30338, 30342, 30350) that qualify for free delivery provided that the order value is $75 or greater and provided that the delivery on on the scheduled day-of-the-week for that zip code.
